The PBA2 Diploma in Barbering is Picasso Academy’s flagship qualification — the complete professional course
for anyone who wants to build a serious career in men’s grooming. Over 9 weeks (weekday) or 18 weeks
(weekend), you work through a structured curriculum that takes you from the fundamentals of head and face shape
analysis right through to precision fading, scissor-over-comb, luxury hot towel shaving, and confident client
management. Unlike courses that rely on mannequin heads, at Picasso you work on real clients from early in the
programme — because the only way to become a confident barber is to actually cut hair. By the time you graduate,
you will have the CPD-accredited certificate, the hands-on experience, and the confidence to work in any
barbershop in the UK.
Programme Content

- Clipper Cutting using guards. [We believe in using Scissor over Comb and Clipper over Comb Techniques to achieve the desired result for the gents within our salons but we understand that you (The Student) may choose to work in a traditional barber’s and therefore you will need to learn this skill]
